1. Read chapter books. (Try to read at least 2-3 chapters books each month.)
2. Multiplication Facts: Practice, practice, practice! You need to be fluent with them which means you should be able to do 100 multiplication facts in 5 minutes or less with 80% or higher mastered. You can make copies to practice on at math-drills.com. Xtramath will be available for you to use this summer too.
3. Scootpad: The adaptive practice learning paths are aligned with your MAP scores. This will help you to get ready for fourth grade as well. I would spend 1-2 hours a week doing Scootpad.
4. Khan Academy is also a great resource to practice math lessons. It is on our school website and district site.
5. Food Service: If you pick up meals at GVHS, they will have packets for students to work on throughout the summer as well.
6. Have FUN! Enjoy doing things with your family and friends over the summer! I look forward to seeing all of you next year at Nate Mack!
Miss you bunches,
Mrs. Haney
P.S. I did assign Scootpad for you to work on this week. Our Google Meets will take place on Monday and Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. See you then!
