Homework: Read each night for 20-30 minutes. This will be your reading stamina and comprehension.

Starring this week:
Reading: We will be finishing our Unit 1 reading test which is a 90% grade. This will make a big difference in their grades if they do well on it.
Writing: Students will be publishing their first writing piece. They have written 5 paragraphs on Sacagawea.
Math: We are working on lesson 6 which is making a connection with multiplication and division. Students are using fact families to help them learn their facts.
Also in math we will be doing our first math performance task. This will be done Monday-Thursday of this week. We will be doing several of these throughout the year to see their growth on the math concepts being taught.
